Film Found Footage, apa itu?
Mungkin dari kalian pernah menonton film Paranormal Activity (2007), Paranormal Activity 2, Paranormal Activity 3 (2011), Paranormal Activity 4 (2012) (semuanya aja Paranormal Activity -.-), Cloverfield (2008), Chronicle (2012), Project X (2012), Project Almanac (2015), Jeruzalem (2015), dsb. Beberapa film tadi menggunakan teknik yang disebut Found Footage.
Found Footage adalah film yang menggunakan mentahan video hasil rekaman sebagai isi dari filmnya. Gaya found footage sendiri biasanya direkam secara POV (point of view), sengaja dibuat seperti kejadian nyata, shaky (berguncang-guncang), buram, dan berjalan dengan alami. Jadi sang aktorlah yang memegang kendali atas kameranya.

Keuntungan menggunakan teknik ini adalah kesan real yang sangat terasa, sehingga banyak film bergenre horror memakai teknik ini. Budget yang dapat ditekan, karena tidak memerlukan banyak efek komputer.
Dibalik keutungan tersebut ada beberapa kelemahan, diantaranya adalah rasa bingung dan bimbang mengenai apa yang terjadi ketika menonton, perasaan mual karena guncangan rekaman, ataupun terkadang membuat kita susah fokus.

Jujur saja saya hanya menonton beberapa film saja, seperti Paranormal Activity dari 1-5, Project Almanac, Area 51, Jeruzalem, dan Noroi (nobar sebelum study tour :D) dan favorit saya adalah film Project Almanac, karena selain saya benci film horror, film tersebut bergenre Sci-Fi time-traveler dan ceritanya yang.. (nonton aja, takut spoiler).
